All 20 Premier League Clubs Ranked On Wage Bill

English Premier League is the most-watched football league in the world. It is also the most expensive one. A huge amount of money is spent in this league, with teams always trying to get the best possible squad possible. The amount of money earned by the clubs through TV and advertising deals is massive. It makes it possible for the clubs to secure some of the best footballers on the planet. However, not all clubs can spend a similar amount of money. In this article, we have the Premier League clubs ranked on the wage bill.

Starting from the lowest, here are the Premier League clubs ranked on the wage bill.

20. Brentford – £33m

Brentford have the lowest wage bill across the league. Their highest-paid player there is Ben Mee, who makes a weekly wage of £55k. Mathias Jensen is the next highest-earning player with £50,000/week, while the talismanic Ivan Toney only makes £21,000 weekly.

19. Brighton – £41m

Brighton had a good last season and are continuing the same under new manager Roberto De Zerbi. The highest-paid player in the club is midfielder Adam Lallana, who earns £90,000 per week. World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister makes a weekly wage of £50,000.

18. Bournemouth – £46m

Jefferson Lerma is the highest-paid player in the team with a weekly wage of £55,000 per week. Senesi, Neto, Solanke and David Brooks are the next-highest-paid players at Bournemouth, with each player earning £05,000 per week. Bournemouth are currently in the relegation zone and will need tremendous effort to secure Premier League survival.

17. Leeds United – £53m

After a below-average last season, in which they just survived relegation, Leeds are once again fighting for survival. The highest-paid player of the club is Rodrigo, who earns £100k per week. Bamford and Rutter make £70k per week. Club owner Andrea Radrizzani has made some wise investments in the club.

16. Fulham – £56m

Bernd Leno and Layvin Kurzawa are the highest-paid players of Fulham, with a weekly wage of £90k each. Their owner Shahid Khan has splashed the cash after purchasing the club in 2013. Under him, Fulham has been through three relegations and three promotions under eight managers in nine years.

15. Wolves – £61m

Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez are the highest-paid players in the Wolves team, with a weekly salary of £100k each. Goncalo Guedes earns £90k per week, making him the next highest-paid player of the club. The club finished 10th last season, but are currently in 13th place this season.

14. Southampton – £49.5m

James Ward-Prowse is the highest-paid player at the club, with a weekly wage of £100k. Theo Walcott still makes £75,000/week at the club despite hardly playing for the club. His contract will expire in the summer of 2023. Mislav Orsic is the second highest-paid player with a weekly wage of £80k.
