English Premier League is the most-watched football league in the world. It is also the most expensive one. A huge amount of money is spent in this league, with teams always trying to get the best possible squad possible. The amount of money earned by the clubs through TV and advertising deals is massive. It makes it possible for the clubs to secure some of the best footballers on the planet. However, not all clubs are able to spend a similar amount of money. In this article, we have the Premier League clubs ranked on the wage bill.

Starting from the lowest, here are the Premier League clubs ranked on the wage bill.

20. Brentford – £18.2

Brentford have the lowest wage bill across the league. Their highest-paid players are Pontus Jansson and David Raya, with a weekly wage of £25,000. They did quite well in the Premier League last given the budget they are running on.

19. Leeds United – £24.2m

After a below-average last season, in which they just survived relegation, Leeds have made a good start to this season. The highest-paid player of the club is Rodrigo, who earns £57,692 per week. Club owner Andrea Radrizzani has made some wise investments in the club.

18. Bournemouth – £27.5m

Jefferson Lerma and David Brooks are the highest paid players of Bournemouth, with both players earning £55,000 per week. Bournemouth are back in the Premier League again for the 2022-23 season and will hope to do well enough to survive in it.

17. Nottingham Forest – £30.8m

Forest are finally back in the Premier League years after quite a while. A lot of the credit goes to the owner who made some investment in the club after purchasing it in 2017. The highest-paid player of the club is Jesse Lingard, with a weekly wage of £200k, While Dean Henderson earns £100k per week.

16. Fulham – £32.2m

Aleksandar Mitrovic is the highest-paid player of Fulham, with a weekly wage of £60k. Their owner Shahid Khan has splashed the cash after purchasing the club in 2013. Under him, Fulham has been through three relegations and three promotions under eight managers in nine years.

15. Brighton – £43.2m

Brighton had a good last season and will hope to continue the same. Graham Potter has earned praise from all over the country for his management skills. The highest-paid player of the club is midfielder Adam Lallana, who earns £90,385 per week.

14. Southampton – £47m

Theo Walcott is the highest earner at the club, with a weekly salary of £75,000. Southampton finished 15th last season and will hope to have a better outing this time around.
