A huge amount of money is spent in this league, with teams always trying to get the best possible squad possible. The amount of money earned by the clubs through TV and advertising deals is massive. It makes it possible for the clubs to secure some of the best footballers on the planet. However, not all clubs are able to spend a similar amount of money. 20. Brentford – £11.6m

Playing in the Premier League for the first time ever, Brentford have the lowest wage bill across the league. Their highest-paid players are Pontus Jansson and David Raya, with a weekly wage of £25,000. They started the season but are currently languishing in the lower middle table.
