16. Southampton – Ernest Arnfield

Ernest Arnfield is the most successful Southampton manager in terms of trophies and honours. With him, the club won the Southern Football League five times and the Western Football League Division 1A once. He managed the club on two occasions, from 1897 to 1911, and again from 1912 to 1919.

17. Tottenham Hotspur – Bill Nicholson

Bill Nicholson is the titanic figure in the history of Tottenham Hotspur. His achievements at Tottenham are unmatched, and he will always be the most important man in the history of Spurs. He managed the club for over 800 matches and collected 11 trophies in his 16 years as manager.

18. Watford – Graham Taylor

Graham Taylor had three managerial stints with Watford. The first time he was the manager of the club, was his longest tenure and it might as well be his best time with the club. Taylor’s incredible achievements saw him take Watford from the fourth tier of English football up to second place in the first tier.

He also helped the club reach their first FA Cup final in 1984. His second tenure with the club from June 1997 to May 2001 was also very successful with him winning Football League Second Division in 1997–98.

19. West Ham – John Lyall

Lyall also was the most successful manager of West Ham United F.C. He managed the team for 15 years from 1974 to 1989. He also led most of West Ham matches(708). Lyall guided West Ham to two FA Cups(1975, 1980) and Football League Second Division title in 1981.

20. Wolves – Stan Cullis

Wolves’ greatest manager of all time is Stan Cullis. Steering the ship from June 1948 until September 1964, Cullis guided Wolves to plenty of honours – two FA Cups, three First Division title wins and a Charity Shield for good measure. His whopping 748 games consisted of 350 wins, 171 draws and 227 losses, giving him a win percentage of 46.8 per cent.
