6. Kieran Tierney

Currently playing for the gunners in EPL, Tierney has been a key fixture in Celtic’s back line from 2015 till 2019. In that time, he has helped the Scottish giants win four consecutive Premiership titles, with each of the last three coming as part of a domestic treble. With eight goals and 37 assists to his name for Celtic in 170 appearances, it was clear he was very good going forward. The young left back was one of the best players in Scottish premiership in the last decade.

5. Mikael Lustig

The Swedish international currently plays for Gent but was once a force to be reckoned with during his time in Scottish Premier League. He has made around 273 appearances for the stripped outfit and has scored around 21 goals in the process. The right back was very influential in the domestic dominance of Celtic in the last decade and has won 8 Scottish Premiership titles, 4 Scottish Cups and 4 Scottish League Cup during his time in Scotland.

4. Kris Boyd

Boyd grew up in the South Ayrshire village of Tarbolton and started his senior career with Kilmarnock. He transferred to Rangers in January 2006, and was their top goalscorer in each of his seasons at Ibrox. He later returned to Kilmarnock for two more spells sandwiching a one-year spell at Rangers in 2014-15.

Boyd is the top goalscorer in the history of the Scottish Premier League, with 167 goals in total. He announced his retirement from professional football in June 2019.
