The 6ft 7in frontman was linked with a move to east London in the summer transfer window, but ultimately, a move did not come to fruition. The 27-year-old managed 35 goals in all competitions last term as Genk finished fourth in the Belgian top flight.

Onuachu is once again linked with a move to the London stadium. If transfer talks go in the right direction then Onuachu could move to England as early as this month.

3. Jonathan David

According to the Daily Mail, Jonathan David is one of the stars who has been identified by the capital club as they aim to build on their impressive start to the campaign.

Since arriving at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy back in August 2020, David has established himself as one of Ligue 1’s most exciting and promising attacking talents.

2. Jack Hendry

The Hammers have Club Brugge centre-back, Jack Hendry, on their radar. Hendry, 26, has really impressed with the Belgian outfit. Hendry is pretty good with the ball at his feet as well. He has also won an average of three aerial duels per match.

Moyes believes that Hendry is someone who would strengthen them considerably. Quite how much Brugges could demand for Hendry remains to be seen.

1. Jesse Lingard

A rather obvious target following his highly successful loan spell at the London Stadium in the second-half of last season is Jesse Lingard.

Lingard is unlikely to sign a new contract with Manchester United, who will look to sell him in January to recoup some form of fee. West Ham were linked with a move for the Englishman in January, but United’s demands proved to be too high, something that will not be a problem after Kretinsky’s investment.
