10 Worst Tottenham Hotspur Managers Ever
3) Juande Ramos
Ramos won the most recent silverware for the team making him the only Spurs manager in the 21st century to win a trophy. But everything except that trophy was totally a disaster. His win percentage of 28.5 percent over 35 games makes him the second-worst Spurs manager of the Premier League era. He won just 21 of his 54 matches in all competitions over less than a year in charge at the club and his team was at the bottom at the time of his sacking.
2) Ossie Ardiles
As a player, he was a good prospect for Tottenham and will forever be adored by the club and its fans but it could not quite work out for him as a manager of Spurs finishing a disappointing 15th after his first season in charge. He also served as a caretaking manager back in 1988 before being a permanent manager in 1993. His team lost 8 of the 12 matches they played in his second season and Ossie had the third-worst win percentage of 29.6 % in the premiership era so he was sacked by the management.
1) Jacques Santini
After having done a great job with Lyon in France Jacques Santini was appointed as Spurs manager in 2004. Expectations were big for the upcoming gaffer but he didn’t really live up to them and lasted only 13 games in which he won only 5. After that, he himself resigned reportedly due to a falling-out with Director of Football Frank Arnesen. He had the worst win percentage in League for any Tottenham manager ever.
