5. Arsenal – €2.36 billion

The Gunners haven’t had much luck in the Premier League and the Champions League in recent years. Since winning the FA Cup in 2005, the club has only won 4 FA cup trophies and 4, Community Shields. The club was only second to Manchester United for being the most valuable club in the Premier League from 2004 to 2017 after which Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool got ahead of the North London club. The club currently has a value of €2.36 billion.

4. Chelsea – €2.62 billion

The West London club has spent its recent time in the top half of this list. Since the turn of the millennium, the club has won 5 Premier League titles, 6 FA Cup titles, and a UEFA Champions League trophy. With that many titles, the club gained a lot of revenue. In the last season, the club had revenue of €426 million.

3. Manchester City – €3.28 billion

If it were the 2000’s, Manchester City would have been in the bottom part of this list. It was in the early 2010s that the value of the club began increasing after they won two Premier League titles in three years (2011-12 and 2013-14). It kept increasing after that and now that the club has won three Premier League titles in the last 4 years, and now they stand 6th in Forbes’ list of most valuable clubs in the world. The club owned by Sheikh Mansour has a brand value of €3.28 billion.

2. Liverpool – €3.36 billion

Liverpool hasn’t always been in the top two, but after winning Premier League in 2020, having waited for 30 years, and the UEFA Champions League in 2019, the club is now among the most valuable clubs in the world with a brand value of €3.36 billion. The Reds had revenue of €507 million in 2020. Salah is the most valuable Liverpool player at the moment with a price tag of almost 110 million euros.

Manchester United has been, in its prime, the most valuable club in the world for many years but especially ever since Sir Alex Ferguson left, the brand value of the club hasn’t been the same. The current value of the club according to Forbes is €3.44 billion which is fourth in the world. Despite not having won the Champions League and the Premier League for many years, the club is still at the top in England.
