3. Harry Winks

Harry Winks has shown his desire to leave Spurs in January. Conte has been laying off players since his arrival at the club and Winks seem to be the next one to leave after Moussa Sissoko, Joe Hart and Danny Rose have already left the club. Few other clubs would also be looking to sign the English midfielder if he decides to leave Tottenham.

Two of Spurs players were signed by Watford in the Summer transfer window including Sissoko and Rose, this shows a good transfer relationship between the two clubs and it also increases Winks’ chances of joining the yellow army. Watford needs an intelligent player who can effectively control the midfield and Harry Winks would be the right man for that purpose. Winks has already had a very good partnership with Sissoko during their time under Pochettino.

2. Eddie Nketiah

The young English international Eddie Nketiah is a very talented player, currently playing for Arsenal and has got many skills up his sleeve. He has shown a lot of promise since his debut and got good awareness of the game, knows when and where to pass the ball and can also finish off chances with great efficiency, with his feet as well as his head. He has got the experience to play at a big stage and with a price tag of almost nothing.

His contract with the Gunners is running out this year and he has failed to find a regular spot in the starting line-up of Mikel Arteta. Arsenal would want around 15m Euros of his fee if they decide to let Nketiah go this January transfer window. It seems that Watford would try their best to bring the youngster to the club and are willing to make a bid.

1. Hassane Kamara

Watford have had some serious issues with their defence this season. Defence is their paramount concern as of now, conceding 36 goals in 18 matches this season and still looking for their first clean sheet. Left-back Hassane Kamara is a very probable target for the Hornets. Watford seem serious about signing the player and if all goes well the Ivory Coast international will be at Vicarage Road for the second half of the season.

The 27-year-old currently plays for the French club Nice and does not have a very high price tag, he is a complete full-back, who can defend well as well as help his team further up the pitch in the attack. He can also play as a left midfielder and an attacking left midfielder.
