4) Martin O’Neill

Probably the greatest Celtic manager of the modern era in football Martin O’Neill could be a very realistic guess for the next manager at Celtic Park. The Celtic fans love the man and he is an absolute idol for the Hoops and they would take him back in a heartbeat but it can be a rather risky situation for the manager as he will jeopardizing his reputation if he doesn’t perform as well as he did in his previous spell.

He was the boss of Neil Lennon. The manager would very well be looking at the situation of his former club and analyzing where this all is going wrong and if given chance, he might be the man to get the Bhoys back on the track. He has been out of work since leaving Nottingham forest and might just be looking for a perfect moment to come back and this can be it.

5) Gordon Strachan

In the past week, the name of Gordon Strachan is being floated. The 63 years old Scottish manager was Celtic boss between 2005 and 2009, guiding the team to three Premier League titles. He is currently managing Dundee united and has 5/1 odds to be the next Celtic manager but the Celtic fans might have some reservations over the club’s progress that this might actually be moving backward by signing a manger they had almost 10 years ago but the manager has done a lot for the club in the league as well as in Europe, for me, he is quite underrated for his achievements. He plays some very entertaining football, always knows what he is doing, and could be very much of a help for the team in their quest to be at the top again, where they belong.
