Alonso is no doubt among the greats of the Premier League. He is one of the most cultured passers of the ball in EPL’s history. He usually played deep and controlled the game with his smooth playmaking abilities. Alonso won the UEFA Champions League title in his first season with The Reds. The Liverpool man was a pure baller and one of the classiest midfielders ever to play in the Premier League. He was also reliable in performing defensive duties for his team. The Spanish international spent 5 years in England appearing in 143 games before joining Real Madrid. Unfortunately, he could not win the Premier League title but he did win a lot of other silverware in his glittering career.

The Spanish full-back is known for his consistency. He is a reliable defender. With 92 clean sheets in 274 games for Chelsea, he is without a doubt one of the most astonishing Spanish players to have played in the Premier League. He is a strong player with a good pace. He was named the club captain after the departure of Gary Cahill ahead of the 2019-20 season. Azpilicueta has won 2 EPL titles with Chelsea. Azpilicueta is a versatile player who can play at any place in the defense. The veteran has got the trust of the new manager Frank Lampard and is still performing well at the age of 31.

Torres was a scintillating goal scorer during his time with Liverpool. He had ruthless finishing ability. He assisted 29 and scored 85 goals, the most goals by any Spanish player in Premier League. Torres won the UEFA Champions League title with Chelsea. The World Cup winner is one of the foremost Spanish players to have played in England but the way he left is a pity, but it should not cover up the fact that he was a deadly striker who used to terrorize defenses all over the league in his prime. He was a powerful player with class oozing from every aspect of his attacking prowess. El Niño had his best days with The Reds and his days with Chelsea were not quite as good as they were with Liverpool but he is still regarded greatest Spanish Premier League players ever.
