Their first game after the return to top-flight English Football was against Liverpool and it was quite an actioner. The Whites gave a very tough time to the champions and scored three past them in Anfield but unfortunately could not win it, courtesy of Salah’s 88th-minute winner from 12 yards. They announced their return with a bang and are playing with a purpose under the tutelage of their very much renowned manager Marcelo Bielsa. The Peacocks can end up qualifying for the Europa League and surprise the whole world, should they keep playing like a real team.
1) Tottenham Hotspur F.C. – Premier League winners
Spurs under Jose Mourinho seem to have reborn this season. They have been playing with a swagger in their game. Every player of the team is playing at the very top level. They have boosted their already star-studded squad with world-class signings of players like Gareth Bale, Sergio Reguilón, Höjbjerg, and Carlos Vinícius this season. Spurs’ attackers have been on a really great run of form. They have without a doubt the best-attacking duo this season in the Premier League with Heung-min Son having the second-most (9) goals and Harry Kane having the most (9) assists this season in the league.
Their recent 2-0 win over Manchester City must have boosted their confidence. They currently stand on the top of the table, two points ahead of Leicester having played a game more. The chances of Spurs winning the Premier League are very bright. If they just remain consistent and disciplined, they are surely going to stun the world with their maiden Premier League trophy.
