4. Michael Owen [8 hat-tricks]

Michael Owen scored eight Premier League hat-tricks in 326 matches that he played for Liverpool, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City. He went on to score 118 goals in 216 appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool. He also won the Ballon d’Or in 2001.

Michael Owen’s hat-tricks were against Sheffield Wednesday (14 February 1998), Newcastle United (30 August 1998), Nottingham Forest (24 October 1998), Newcastle United (5 May 2001), Newcastle United (5 May 2001), Manchester City (28 September 2002), West Bromwich Albion (26 April 2003) and West Ham United (17 December 2005).

4. Thierry Henry [8 hat-tricks]

Arsenal’s legend Thierry Henry scored eight hat-tricks in 258 matches. He received the Premier League Golden Boot a record four times. He was named the PFA Players’ Player of the Year twice, and the FWA Footballer of the Year three times, and was named in the UEFA Team of the Year five times.

Thierry Henry’s hat-tricks were against Leicester City (26 December 2000), West Ham United (19 January 2003), Liverpool (9 April 2004), Leeds United (16 April 2004), Portsmouth (5 March 2005), Norwich City (2 April 2005), Middlesbrough (14 January 2006) and Wigan Athletic (7 May 2006).

4. Harry Kane [8 hat-tricks]

Harry Kane has eight Premier League hat-tricks to his name and many more are yet to come. He is Spurs’ third highest goalscorer in all competions.

His hat-tricks were against Leicester City (21 March 2015), AFC Bournemouth (25 October 2015), West Bromwich Albion (14 January 2017), Stoke City (26 February 2017), Leicester City (18 May 2017), Hull City (21 May 2017), Burnley (23 December 2017) and Southampton (27 December 2019).

3. Robbie Fowler [9 hat-tricks]

Robbie Fowler scored 9 hat-tricks in 379 Premier League matches. Fowler is best remembered for his time at Liverpool and is the seventh-highest goalscorer in the history of the Premier League. He earned the nickname “God” from the Anfield crowd, becoming a club legend due to his ruthlessness in front of goal.

Fowler’s hat-tricks were against Southampton (30 October 1993), Arsenal (28 August 1994), Bolton Wanderers (23 September 1995), Arsenal (23 December 1995), Middlesbrough (14 December 1996), Aston Villa (21 November 1998), Southampton (16 January 1999), Leicester City (20 October 2001) and Bolton Wanderers (26 December 2001).
