5. Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur possess a large loyal fan base from North London and county sides. They have the most rivalry against the North London side Arsenal, also against some other London Clubs like Chelsea and West Ham United. They have also a large number of Supporters’ clubs all over the World.

Tottenham have won two top tier English titles, in 1951 and 1961, respectively. They have one the FA Cup eight out of the nine times they went to the final, and they claimed the League Cup four times.

Tottenham have achieved European greatness when the Spurs won the inaugural UEFA Cup in 1972 and again in 1984.

4. Crystal Palace

It’s really tough to acquire a solid fan base being a London club as so many other clubs are there within London. But Crystal Palace are able to maintain a huge local fan base. Two supporters’ club named The Palace Independent Supporters’ Association and Crystal Palace Supporters’ Trust which are constantly active in supporting the club all the time.

The new owners of the club are really trying hard to increase the fan base of the club and they are implementing the supporters’ decisions also in any situation of the Club. The fanzines named ‘Eagle Eye’, ‘Palace Echo’ ‘The Eastern Eagles’, ‘So Glad You’re Mine and One More Point’ published by the Palace fans were really famous in London. The club have their old rivalries against Millwall and Charlton Athletic.

3. Chelsea

This London-based club have a huge fan base all over the World. Chelsea are situated at sixth position in terms of attendance all the time and 40000 seats at Stamford Bridge are almost filled up in every Chelsea home games. They were listed as fourth in terms of official kit sales in time period between 2007-12 all over the World.

They have a huge number of followers in the club’s official Twitter account. The main rivalries of the Club is against the London clubs like Tottenham, Arsenal, Fulham, Leeds United and West Ham United.
