6) Neil Warnock

After getting appointed as Leeds manager in Feb 2012, Neil Warnock seemed a perfectly fine fit for the Peacocks but things didn’t quite work out that way. In his 63 games as the gaffer, he only won 23 games and lost 25. Leeds did defeat Tottenham under his managing tenure but at the end after a string of defeats and Leeds sitting five points off the relegation zone, Warnock was sacked by the club on 1 April 2013 just after 2-1 home defeat at the hands of their old rivals Derby County.

His tenure with United was also a short one in which he ended up managing only 22 games over 8 months’ time. His time at Leeds was a period that can be considered one of the most turbulent chapters in the club’s recent history. He was axed by the club just two days after the club lost 6-1 to Portsmouth which was their worst defeat since 1959 and then Leeds started looking for their 4th manager in 17 months.

4) Uwe Rosler

Rosler was a manager who had a very short stay with the club, being axed just 12 games into his managing tenure with the Peacocks. Under the German manager, United only won 2 games, drew 6 and lost 4 games. He had a win percentage of only 16.67 %. Leeds were 18th in the championship at the moment he was sacked by the chairman Massimo Cellino after the 2-1 loss to Brighton at their home Elland road.
