If the owner invests in the club, the club is surely moving upwards, maybe not instantly, but sooner than later. If he doesn’t invest, but rather drains the club out, it negatively affects the club.

20. The Glazer family – Manchester United
Manchester United fans have never been secretive about their hate towards The Glazer Family. You can see the “Glazer Out” protests as a recurring image. The final nail in the coffin was the whole European Super League saga where the Glazer Family was the front-runner along with Florentino Perez.
19. David Sullivan – West Ham
David Sullivan is the primary owner of the club with 38.8% of the stakes. A lying owner is not exactly the owner you need for a club that you love with all your heart, and that’s what the West Ham fans think of David Sullivan. The lack of confidence is evident in that one incident where the fans invaded the pitch during a match against Burnley.
18. Joe Lewis & Daniel Levy – Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham is owned by ENIC Group, club chairman Daniel Levy and his family own 29.4% of the share capital of ENIC International Limited, while Joe Lewis owns 70.6%. The Tottenham fans do not exactly love Daniel Levy as they want the club to spend more money so that they can challenge for trophies.
Spurs need a lot of signings and a quality manager before they could challenge the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City for the title. Claims have been made that Levy is only concerned about the money that the club makes, and not the emotions of the fans.
17. Farhad Moshiri – Everton
Farhad Moshiri is on a mission to make Everton dominate the Premier League as well as Europe. He has been bringing reinforcements to ensure that the club’s goal is reached. They have a new stadium on the way on Liverpool docks as well. However, the club has been going through some really bad form since last season. Once again like last season, their main goal now is just to ensure top-flight survival.
16. Gao Jisheng – Southampton
Southampton are a club that not only invests a decent amount of money into their team but also back their managers and players. Most of the owners would sack the manager who loses 9-0, however, Gao Jisheng did not sack Ralph Hassenhuttl for losing by such a huge margin twice. However, Ralph Hassenhuttl was sacked this season, and the following manager, Nathan Jones was also sacked after 8 games in charge of the club. Letting go of Danny Ings was also a rather questionable decision considering how he was their main goal scorer.
15. Maxim Demin – Bournemouth
Russian-born British businessman Maxim Victorovich became the co-owner of AFC Bournemouth in 2011 before entirely buying the club soon after. The club has continued to increase expenditure on transfers ever since. Bournemouth came back to the Premier League again for the 2022-23 season, but are in the last position on the table after 25 matches.
14. Stan Kroenke – Arsenal
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are in contention for the Premier League title, thus the voices of discontent against the owner have dropped down a little. However, for the majority of the last decade, Arsenal has only been a shadow of the elite club it once was. The bulk of that blame could be dumped on the owner who didn’t make funds available for the managers before. This new Arsenal has the required firepower, with better ownership they could compete for trophies consistently.
Imagine thinking the Glaziers are even anywhere close to being as bad as Ashley…. What a terrible list!

Where there’s smoke there’s fire, and since it was the Premier League itself that announced these breaches, they obviously feel that they have a strong case.
