In this article, we have the Premier League clubs ranked on average turnout percentage percentage during the 2023-24 season.

20. Anfield – Liverpool [92.6 %]

I bet you didn’t see this coming, Liverpool are 20th on this list. The average Premier League turnout percentage at Anfield in the first three home games has only been an average of 50,075  in a stadium with a capacity of 54.074.

The iconic Anfield stadium creates an unmatchable atmosphere. The Kopites are known to be one of the most passionate fan bases in the world. They had a poor last season as they were unable to claim a Champions League spot and will hope to do better this season.

19. Bramall Lane – Sheffield United [94.4%]

Bramall Lane has a capacity of 32,702, which has been 94.4% full this season with an average turnout of 30,870 in the first 6 home games. However, they have made a horrendous start in the league with just 1 win in the first 12 games.

18. Craven Cottage – Fulham [95.5%]

Craven Cottage’s redevelopment will take the capacity to 29,600. Their current capacity is 25,700 and it has seen an average turnout of 24,538 spectators in the first four home games. They have acquired 12 points in the first 12 games and will hope to do better in the upcoming games.

17. Selhurst Park – Crystal Palace [95.5%]

Irrespective of the numbers that turn up, the atmosphere of the stadium is top-notch. It’s widely acknowledged that Eagles supporters are some of the best around, producing brilliant fan displays on a regular basis, and creating one of the most imposing atmospheres in the Premier League. The average turnout this season has been 24,879.

16. The City Ground – Nottingham Forest [96%]

Back in the Premier League after quite a while, Nottingham Forest managed to secure Premier League survival last season.  The average home attendance so far this season has been 29,214. Given that Forest fans are one of the best in the country, we expect this number to go a little higher.

15. Vitality Stadium – AFC Bournemouth [96.7%]

Even with the second smallest stadium in the Premier League, Bournemouth’s turnout has only been 96.7% of their stadium’s capacity. Their average attendance during the 2023-24 season’s first three home games has been 10,958, while the capacity of their stadium is 11,329. The club secured Premier League survival last season after finishing the season in 15th place.

14. Villa Park – Aston Villa [96.9%]

What a turnaround it has been for Aston Villa under Unai Emery. They were near the bottom of the table when the Spaniard took over and finished the last season with a European spot. Their average attendance this season has been 41,378, which is 96.9% of the stadium’s capacity of 42,682. Vills fans are known to be one of the best in the league.
