Premier League is one of the most competitive leagues in the world. Upsets and shocks are alwyas on the cards here. It is not very easy to be consistently brilliant in this league. However, there have been some managers who have managed to do that. In this article, we will have a look at the most successful Premier League managers ever based on win percentage.

10. Mauricio Pochettino
Win percentage : 52.86 (244 matches)
Poch is the current manager of Tottenham Hotspur, his second Premier League club. He accepted his first job in the Premier League at Southampton in January 2013.
He made impressive start at Southampton and led the club to victories over reigning Premier League champions Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea. In the next season, Pochettino led the Saints to eighth place, matching their best ever Premier League finish.
Pochettino was then chosen by Tottenham Hotspur as Tim Sherwood’s replacement for the 2014/15 season, being appointed as the head coach. He has made Spurs a Champions League regular and also took them to the final in 2018-19. Pochettino was rewarded with five-year contract in May 2018.
9. Manuel Pellegrini

The current manager of West Ham United made his Premier League debut with Manchester City in 2013. He led them to a Premier League and League Cup double in his first season.
He won the League Cup again in 2015/16, while also claiming the Premier League Manager of the Month award on four occasions during his time at the club.
After three seasons at City, Pellegrini was replaced by Pep Guardiola. He spent the next two years in the Chinese Super League with Hebei China Fortune before replacing David Moyes at West Ham.

A fine win percentage for the three-time Premier League winner, Arsene Wenger is one of the most successful Premier League managers ever. He holds the record for the most Premier League games managed between 1996-2018.
Wenger made Arsenal Premier League champions only in his second season in-charge. He repeated the feat again in 2001/02 before making history in 2003/04, as “The Invincibles” went unbeaten throughout the entire league campaign on their way to sealing a third Premier League crown.
After the 2017-18 campaign, he stood down as the manager of Arsenal after 476 wins in 828 matches in the Premier League.
7. Jurgen Klopp
Win percentage : 59.72 (144 matches)
Jurgen Klopp got his chance to manage in the Premier League when he took over at Liverpool in October 2015. The German arrived at Anfield after taking a short break from football following an impressive seven-year stay with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
He has completely transformed Liverpool. They have now became a genuine UCL contender and not just a UCL spot contender. He also led the club to UCL trophy in 2018-19 season, beating Spurs in the final. His next mission will be to win Liverpool’s first ever Premier League title.

Roberto Mancini will always have a special place in the hearts of Manchester City fans. He was the first manager to win the Premier League for them and also ended the 44 years frought of top division league title.
In his first full season in-charge, he won the FA Cup and went on to win the Premier League next season in the most dramatic way ever. Under Mancini, City progressed to the 2013 FA Cup Final, but were defeated by Wigan Athletic and that led to his sacking.

5. Jose Mourinho

Three-time Premier League winner Jose Mourinho has had three spells in the Premier League. Mourinho started his Premier League career in London when he was named manager of Chelsea in June 2004, before leaving early in the 2007/08 campaign.
He returned to the Blues on 3 June 2013, and won the Premier League in the 2014-15 seasons. The following season, he was sacked by Chelsea after a disastrous start to the campaign.
In May 2016, Mourinho signed a three-year deal as manager of Manchester United. In his first season in charge the club won the Community Shield, the League Cup and the UEFA Europa League.
The Red Devils finished second behind their city rivals in 2017/18 and lost the FA Cup final to Mourinho’s former club, Chelsea. Mourinho left Manchester United in December 2018, with the club lying in sixth place after 17 matches. He is one of the most successful Premier League managers ever.

Antonio Conte had two successful years as head coach of Chelsea after being appointed in April 2016, winning the title in his first season and the FA Cup in his second.
Under Conte, Chelsea played from great football. However, European failures made life difficult for him at the club. Chelsea announced that they had parted company with Conte on 13 July 2018, after he failed to qualify Chelsea for UCL, by finishing fifth.

Arguably the best manager in the world, Pep Guardiola has been the Manchester City manager since the start of the 2016/17 campaign.
The Spanish coach signed a deal to replace Manuel Pellegrini during the 2015/16 season and officially took charge over the summer after leaving Bayern Munich. He did not win any trophies in his first season in-charge of the club.
However, in the next campaign, he broke the Premier League record for most consecutive wins, with 18 victories between August and December 2017. Guardiola lifted his first trophy in England following a 3-0 win over Arsenal in the 2018 Carabao Cup final.
The Citizens dominated throughout the 2017/18 Premier League season, with Guardiola securing his first league title in English football with a record of 106 goals, 32 wins and 100 points.
