Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka Preview : Asia Cup 2018
The Asia Cup 2018 is set to kick off from Sep 15 with Bangladesh taking on Sri Lanka in the opening encounter at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. There are two groups with three teams each and the two top teams from each group will move to the ‘Super Four’ round. In this round every team will play each other once , the two best team from the groups will play the final on 28th Sept.

This is the first game of the tournament , both teams will look to make a solid start to the tounament by playing their strongest XI. The rivalry started between these two teams in the Hero Nidahas trophy in Sri Lanka would provide an extra spice to this match. With Afganistan being the third team of the group , you can’t expect any easy games from this group as Afganistan are proving to be a very good team with their deadly spin attack.
Shakib Al Hasan’s fitness will play a key role for Bangladesh in this match. Lasith Malinga, who is back in the team for the first time after 2017, could play an important role for Sri Lanka.
