The professional 1-3 win at Arsenal on Saturday put United 8 points behind City in the Premier League table. So if United wins on Sunday the gap will be closed down to five points which could be massive for the title race.

Paul Pogba will be unavailable after the Frenchman was sent off for stamping on Hector Bellerin at The Emirates. He has been handed over a three match ban which means he will miss the Derby. Mourinho in his post match conference of CSKA Moscow said that Eric Bailly has no chance for the weekend, Phil Jones has a chance,Marouane Fellaini a chance and Zlatan a big chance. The boss also said Nemanja Matic is injured but will play and also Michael Carrick has no chance of gametime. The boss made six changes against CSKA Moscow . Rojo ,De Gea,Martial all were rested and is set to return for the derby. One man who is set to return for the Reds is in-form left-back Ashley Young, who was rested on Tuesday, while Jesse Lingard will hope to be involved after an impressive goalscoring appearance at Arsenal.

Pep Guardiola has said that David Silva is a doubt for the Big Clash as he picked up a knock while playing against West Ham.
